The poet knows how to play on a harp without string and after he knows how to answer to those who claim they didn't heard the music.

To complete my website which is in French, I've decided to create a blog in English. In fact, it will rather be a Gallery, as I am a better stitcher than writer ... All my artwork from 1999 to 2007 can be found in the Archives : November 2007
I'll add regularly some views and close-up of my new pieces.

Shimmering Gardens - Midday
The green serie of the 2007 BJP is finished and here is the first panel of what will be a triptych with the blue and the pink series.
It will appear in my exhibition in Larchmont in June (see below)
Yes, there will be 2 other panels of 4 BJP mounted in the same way : one pink (sunset) and one blue (midnight). I think that when the triptych will be all done, it will look great.
I want to mount them in a simple way because it's the beading which is interesting and the stitching must not overflow the whole thing ...
Your lovely "heavy beading" paisley pieces were amazing as individual works, but when you put them together into a triptych the artfulness of them comes forard and they are magnificant! How I wish I could come to your exhibition.
I also saw your work on the BJP website member page... I am in awe of what you have accomplished... and more than a little thrilled to hear that my book had anything to do with it.
Absolutely gorgeous! Your work has inspired artists to sign up for the 2008 BJP; I've had people sending in their registration saying they heard about the BJP from you or your site - thank you so much! I wish I could see your work in person - I've admired it and drooled over it since the beginning!

What a unique and wonderful way to put them all together, caroll!
(will you do the same with the other 8?)
Thank you !

Caroll -
The beaded panel looks wonderful. I'm looking forward to seeing a photo of all three.
Pure magic !

How absolutely wonderful!
These are spectacular.
Do you freeform your design, or are you sketching out on the material first?
Quite quite lovely !

So sorry that I couldn't attend the SAQA meeting, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful work in Larchmont.
