The poet knows how to play on a harp without string and after he knows how to answer to those who claim they didn't heard the music.

Lao Tseu

To complete my website which is in French, I've decided to create a blog in English.

In fact, it will rather be a Gallery, as I am a better stitcher than writer ...
All my artwork from 1999 to 2007 can be found in the Archives : November 2007

I'll add regularly some views and close-up of my new pieces.

BJP 2008 - November

I've used some needlepoint for the middle : wool thread and seed beads.
Corners in silk thread, cotton thread and seed beads.

This is wonderful and very different - I like the symmetry of it all.

Oh, Caroll!!! This is SO pretty! Your design, colors and use of different fibers is lovely... makes me think of seed pods, the beauty of details in the late fall, and the emotional centering (hibernation?) that happens toward the end of the year. Robin A.

Such subtlety! In all of your work. Beautiful. I wish I had your designing talent. I am blown away by the designs, the colors, the beautiful stitching, the threads, structures, all of it.

This is very nice. You used the stitching fabric very well to achieve the symmetry.

What are the squares underlaid with?

The squares are underlaid by a simple sheet of paper.
