Pomp and circumstance

Has been selected to participate in the SAQA "Transformation 07 : reverberation" exhibition (Birmingham - Festival of quilts 2007) , then Crooked Tree Arts Center (Petoskey, Michigan) January 12 – March 8, 2008 and Visions Gallery (San Diego, CA) April 4-May 25, 2008

Background in little squares of hand dyed fabrics + dyed vintage laces.
Border in hand dyed fabric + organza, machine stitched and burned with a soldering iron.

Other materials : tyvek, organza, beads and sequins.


Machine (a little) and heavy hand embroidery. Some needle lace in variegated threads.
